A type of commercial company whose capital is divided into shares and is comprised of contributions from shareholders, who are not liable for the company’s debts with their personal assets. The liability is limited to the amount of capital contributed. In Spain, among other requirements, the Companies Act (LSA) demands a minimum capital of 60,000 euros to establish a PLC.
